About Prana Foundation

Prana Foundation is a collective dedicated to the preservation, protection, and respectful transmission of ancestral Earth medicines.
Our work is rooted in the principles of safety, integrity, and conscious facilitation, ensuring that every participant receives guidance within a sacred, ethical, and culturally respectful container.
For the past six years, we have been offering healing retreats and ceremonial work throughout Europe, creating spaces where individuals can reconnect with themselves, with nature, and with the ancestral wisdom that supports deep transformation.
Our approach bridges traditional medicine lineages with modern therapeutic integration, honoring the teachings of the elders while supporting participants in grounding their experiences into daily life.

About Great Mother Aya

Aya is a sacred Amazonian medicine traditionally used by Indigenous peoples for healing, spiritual insight, and connection with the natural and spiritual worlds.
This medicine is prepared from two master plants—the Aya vine (Banisteriopsis caapi) and the Chacruna leaf (Psychotria viridis)—whose combination opens a profound visionary and introspective experience.

For centuries, Aya has been used to:
• Cleanse the body, mind, and energetic field
• Heal emotional wounds and trauma
• Receive spiritual guidance and clarity
• Reconnect with nature and ancestral wisdom
• Expand consciousness and deepen self‑understanding

In ceremonial context, Aya is considered a teacher plant, guiding participants through a process of inner exploration, healing, and transformation.
Its effects can be strong and deeply meaningful, which is why it must always be served within a safe, ethical, and culturally respectful ceremonial container.

At Prana Foundation, Aya is offered in alignment with:
• Traditional ceremonial protocols
• Respect for the medicine’s cultural origins
• Experienced curanderas who hold the energetic field
• A trained support team
• Integration practices that help ground insights into daily life

Prana Foundation is connected with Indigenous tribes and traditional lineages who work with Aya in an ancestral and ethical way. Through these relationships, we receive the medicine directly from its original guardians, ensuring that the healing we bring to Europe remains authentic, culturally rooted, and aligned with the highest integrity.

The Curanderas

Devi Chandra Ma

Her work integrates psychological understanding with sacred medicine practices, offering a **grounded, supportive, and deeply holistic** healing experience.

Retreat Structure

This immersive retreat includes:

• 3 Aya ceremonies guided by our curanderas
• Integration circles after each ceremony
• Preparation practices including meditation and breathwork
• Yoga and grounding practices
• Closing ceremony with sacred cacao

Our ceremonies are supported by a trained team of facilitators who accompany participants throughout the entire process.
To ensure safety, individual attention, and a strong energetic container, the retreat is limited to a small group.

Aya Ceremonies

During the ceremonies, the curanderas hold the energetic field and guide the healing process through:

• Traditional medicine songs ICAROS
• Prayers
• Sacred instruments

Each ceremonial night generally includes:

Preparation – Breathwork and guided meditation to calm the mind and prepare the body
Rapé (optional) – A sacred Amazonian snuff used for grounding and energetic cleansing
Aya Ceremony – Held in a protected ceremonial space guided by the curanderas
Closing & Nourishment – Herbal teas and fruits offered once the ceremony is complete

Integration

Integration is an essential part of working with plant medicine.
After each ceremony, we gather in sharing circles, where participants can reflect on their experiences and receive guidance on how to integrate insights into daily life.

The facilitators and curanderas support participants in grounding their experiences and transforming insights into **meaningful, embodied change.

Closing Ceremony

On the final day, we gather for a Sacred Cacao Ceremony, a heart‑opening ritual that supports emotional integration, gratitude, and connection within the group.
