We are “Prana Foundation”, a team dedicated to preserving traditional Earth medicines and making them safely available in Europe. Currently most of our retreats are in Portugal under the guidance of Devi Chandra Ma, a Mexican medicine woman with over 20 years of experience in multiple healing modalities.

Devi has trained her Team for several years, to make sure every body works with same Intention and Pure Heart, and all the facilitators involved into the Retreats are therapists, Healers and teachers of different modalities and Spiritual practices, our Team is an international combination of souls that come together to serve and be part of Human transformation with respect and deep sense of gratitude to be part of the Transformation of the World Family.

The medicine of mushrooms is called ‘holy children’ in México.
Their spirit is joyful and brings peace to the heart. They connect us with our real nature, freeing us again and remembering our inner essence.

In a ceremonial context, it brings deep healing, opening of consciousness, and reconnection with the inner truth.

One of the Missions Prana Foundation has found in this years in Europe is the need to bring back respect and understanding to the use of this Sacred Spirits as the Plant Medicines so misused and creating so much more confusion than true healing!

Plant medicines can be psyche-shattering while carrying enormous potential to re-imagine oneself from the ground up in this process.

Prana’s goal is to assist with absolute compassion and gentleness, while also having the strength to hold safe space for the primitive material that comes to the surface during the retreat. It is our job to provide a secure base which will allow for deep experiences to unfold.

Keeping company, containing, ensuring safety and connection when sought for, paying careful attention, and surrendering to what the situation calls for— We follow, accompany and provide support with respectful approach to individual needs.

Our main healer, Devi Chandra Ma, is a mother and her main intention is to create a bridge of hope and a safety, creating this Bridge of Love and light and setting the right atmosphere with proper instructions for all at the beginning, so our Healing can be done into a harmonic atmosphere.
Our Team of Facilitators will be always on service during the whole Retreat to provide the needed assistance and accompany all the process with grace.

During the ceremony, Chandra’s voice and the musical instruments create a bridge to other worlds. Her voice is described by those who hear her icaros as ‘angelic’. CEREMONY — PSYLOCIBIN ALBINE MUSHROOMS – TEONACATL “FLESH OF GOD”

The native curanderos of Mexico Used to call this Ceremony, Ceremonia de Velación, Wake Ceremony, so the intention always is healing and due to their wisdom and high universal connection the Mushrooms can bring a huge New Perspective in Life and Rebirth of your soul. The way we approach all medicines is with respect and organically growing in trust and opening slowly together to the vortex of the Spirits. the Medicine will be held into ceremonial space and Nature, flowing freely with Respect for your process and the others around. and allowing the joy and playfulness of the spirits to help us heal trough the music prayers and cleansing, the duration of this Ceremony varies depending on the group but normally around 6 hrs together. Once the work is done the closure brings us all together to ground in peace and with infusions and food to nourish the body

TEMAZCALLI (SWEAT LODGE)

The Primordial Tradition of Humanity.
In the Temazcalli ritual the basic thing is to set in motion the energy and information coming from the four elements of which human beings are made up: Earth, Water, Air and Fire. What we usually called Nahui Ollin Teotl —The Sacred Cross of Movement. In turn, each of these elements is associated with the Four Worlds within which the development of each member of the human species takes place. The material world, the formative world, the creative world and the archetypal world. Which we can associate with the four elements: Material — Earth; Creative — Water; Formative — Air; Archetypal — Fire.

INTEGRATION

During Retreat, we will hold an Integration Circle so we can understand what happened and next steps to be taken into our transformation. As we offer these experiences, we also acknowledge the need for integration and preparation. That is the only safe way to work in these spaces.

The challenge is to weave together insights, downloads, visions, and mystical experiences in order to translate them into greater wisdom and loving kindness in daily life. Following the retreat, we offer an integration session with the group. In addition, we highly recommend 1:1 Therapy Sessions with our handpicked guides.

Plant medicines can reveal the baggage that you have carried all your life, and when you acknowledge it, you can finally put it down. In the right context this is a very deep experience, and it is our role as facilitators to create that context.

ABOUT DEVI CHANDRA MA

Chandra has studied with masters from various parts of the world, such as the Shipibo Conibo, Red path, Vedic path and others. They taught Chandra not only about Ayahuasca but also other medicinal plants and healing modalities and guided her path as a medicine woman. Chandra’s therapies and healing modalities include: Biomagnetism, Biodecodification, Sound Healing, Breathwork, Tantric Breathwork, Energetic Cut and Cleansing, Womb Blessings, Vedic Meditations, Singing Circles and Cacao Ceremonies.

AFTER THE RETREAT

We encourage participants to take a couple of days away from society, both before and especially after the retreat. The process of transformation is still extremely powerful in the first few days, and the psyche is too tender to be returned abruptly to day to day life.

We’ll stress again the importance of integration, either with a therapist chosen by yourself or one recommended by us, or even by yourself. Two weeks after the retreat we hold an online sharing circle, which is a wonderful occasion to talk about your realizations and hear your fellow travelers speak about theirs.

Also, if you accept, you will be added to the extended circle of the Prana spiritual Family, as we grow together into a Community of people dedicated to personal and societal spiritual growth.
